Old Hand Hewn Beams and Timbers
Utilizing old reclaimed wood and reclaimed lumber is a wonderful way to "green up" and give new life to antique building materials. We carry a variety of beautiful rustic wood products that come from century old Pioneer and Amish built barns and other unique and historic structures. These products include hand hewn barn beams, old barn siding, reclaimed flooring and old "water washed" wooden beams and timbers from Montana's Bonner Dam project, circa 1884. Often coveted is the wide plank flooring, which brings a wonderful antique edge to any project as every old wood floor has its own story to tell. Old reclaimed wood is superior in strength and unmatched beauty. But collecting reclaimed flooring, reclaimed beams & timbers or old barn wood requires careful handling, cleaning and preparation which is why "reclaim lumber" can cost more than new wood. Enjoy using our products. Remember, every reclaimed wide plank floor and old hand hewn beam has a different story to tell. Renewed Life We mentioned above that we come across a variety of materials like hand hewn beams and siding with many unique and individual patinas to choose from. We also have old barn doors, pulleys, hardware and rustic circle sawn flooring, resawn tongue and groove flooring, embossed tin roofing, and many other wonderful discoveries. Please contact us if you do not see that we've listed what you need. We probably have it in one of our barns or old antique structures
